Chad Ballestrazze is a leadership development expert with a background in Reconnaissance, Army Special Operations, and leading teams in high-stakes environments.
He has deployed numerous times around the world, gaining firsthand insight into how people perform, lead, and grow under pressure. These global experiences shaped his understanding of what drives human performance, team cohesion, and resilient leadership especially when the stakes are high and the margin for error is small.
Chad has worked with college athletic teams, professional civilian organizations, and military units to develop disciplined leaders capable of thriving through adversity and leading with clarity. His approach is grounded in real-world experience, not theory—focused on practical tools that create results.
As the Founder and CEO of Beyond the Trek, Chad leads a team dedicated to building better people through leadership development, character formation, and human performance training. Beyond the Trek blends elite operational experience with purpose-driven coaching to help individuals and organizations unlock their full potential.
Raised by deaf parents, Chad learned early on how mindset and environment influence personal outcomes. Watching loved ones wrestle with perceived limitations, he developed a deep passion for helping others break through mental barriers and reclaim ownership of their growth.
Today, Chad is a husband, father, youth coach, and community leader. His mission is simple: develop the person, and you elevate the professional.
